America’s declinism of gilded nature

Exhibition Design

Nature and humans are two elements constantly at odds, two sides of a coin…balancing on a pin, an infinite balancing act. If one side tips too far the other dies, and yet since the Gilded Age and the bloom of industry, we as a society have thrown the balance off at an alarming rate. This exhibition highlights this contrast and the dangers that we are facing from the scales tipping too far towards industry and development.

The informative Zines show a range of both local and national stories of pollution and nature through photography and art shot by the artist firsthand.

The poster series demonstrates the beauty nature has the capacity to show us and educates the viewer on the current issues each park is facing.

This exhibition was made to bring attention and urgency to the topic of pollution and encourage its viewers to advocate for the environment and its beauty.
