“New Orleans Spice Company” Spice Series
I created a brand mark for the “New Orleans Spice Company” and a series of three different spice mixes representing the cajun culture.
Design Process and Sketches
My goal for this line of spices was to incorporate Cajun culture into my design solutions as well as represent New Orleans. New Orleans is a city full of history as well as a city full of music, partying, and decoration I wanted the fun of the city represented in my line.
While researching, I learned how food centered traditional Cajun culture is, gathering family and community together around a nice big pot of gumbo. Most cajun recipies are passed down through the generations and I wanted that reflected in my design solutions. You can see in my sketches below I keep a warm home cooking theme, with vegetables and warm pots boiling.
